F for four and fireworks

We hope you all had a wonderful time on sports day and thank you so much for your support. We have been learning about the number 4 and the phonic sound 'f'. We continues our focus on the story Little Rabbit Foo Foo with and emphasis on how stories are structured; the beginning middle and the end. We explore rhythm and rhyme further with our activity Silly Soup.

Eggs in the Pan e-e-e

We hope that everyone enjoyed our fabulous Loy Kratong Celebration. We thought that the children did a fantastic job and it seems that the judges agree because Nursery won the prize for best performance. Well done Nursery!
The children also did a great performance for our poetry competition, some of the children got prizes for best performance for this too. Thanks for practicing this at home with your children.
This week we have been reviewing 1, 2, and 3 as well as the phonic sound "e". Focusing on rhyme with our Silly Soup activities. All of this learning has been supported in our featured book, Little Rabbit Foo Foo, who has three chances to change his terrible behavior, which also lead to conversations about how to be a good friend.

C and three... It rhymes!!!

We have been learning all about the sound of the letter "Cc" and number 3 this week. Some children brought their favourite toy from home to show and tell about, to their friends. We have been focusing on rhymes and stories that rhyme and we have also been preparing for the Loy Kratong festival.

'c' is for catch. Catch the beanbag.

'c' is for crocodile, which also happens to be a favourite toy.
