It's Starting to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

In the final week of term one it is a time to reflect on all the fantastic learning and progress that the children have made. I'm sure we can agree that Nursery did an amazing job in the Nativity performance on Monday. The students have been busy making Christmas cards and decorations, honing their fine motor skills, as well as learning the story of Christmas. We reviewed the phonic sounds and numbers that we have learnt so far this year. As part of learning about "our community", we visited the local post office, bought stamps and posted our letters.
Thank you for all your support this term and have a wonderful holiday. Thank you too for all the wonderful gifts! See you next year!

Everyone Loves a Baby

This week has mostly been taken up with learning about the Nativity for RE week and rehearsing our performance of the Nativity, Everyone Loves a Baby. I'm sure you are all excited to see your children perform on stage. We have also been reviewing our phonic sounds a-f and further exploring the number 4.

F for four and fireworks

We hope you all had a wonderful time on sports day and thank you so much for your support. We have been learning about the number 4 and the phonic sound 'f'. We continues our focus on the story Little Rabbit Foo Foo with and emphasis on how stories are structured; the beginning middle and the end. We explore rhythm and rhyme further with our activity Silly Soup.

We painted fireworks with forks.
